The Donald E. Woods Opportunity Center Parents, Staff and Community: As principal of the Donald E. Woods Opportunity Center, I would like to welcome you to the 2020 – 2021 school year. Polk County Public Schools is a “B” rated school district. On behalf of the students we serve ‘Thank You All’ for your continued support and efforts. With a STUDENTS FIRST mind set, increasing the graduation rate and becoming an “A” school district will become a reality. The custodial staff has cleaned, students have been registered and with ‘GRACE, MERCY and FLEXIBILITY’ we are ready to get the new school year started. Collectively committed, jointly supportive and mutually accountable will guide this challenging work we all do daily. It is a choice to make it a great day.
